Zopa Savings Account Forgot Password - Reset Email Not Recieved

Has anyone had any trouble recieving the reset password for their Zopa account? I have requested it several times on the app, online chat and phone and recieved nothing. 

It's fustrating and worrying because if I can't access my Savings account, I won't be able to access my money.

Yes I have, nothing in my spam folder

when you spoke to Zopa did you check they had the correct email address?

Yes they confirmed it was the correct email. They said to call on Monday to speak to the specialist team. I really hope they can fix it. Was wondering if anyone else faced the same issue

you could check your email account and check the filters/rules and check that anything from zopa is not being immediately deleted

Back to basics, check your email account is working by sending an email to yourself.

I have just requested a Zopa password reset. The email arrived instantly. 

Assuming you typed the correct email address in your request, it looks like either an issue with your email provider or there is something odd with your Zopa account.

I found this on Twitter- it’s a few years old but it looks as if they sometimes do have an issue with PW resets, and have a way to manually override it. If it turns out that it is their fault, you could ask for compensation as you were unable to access your funds and presumably needed to make hasty loan arrangements😏

I saw the same on Twitter. I think it's an issue on their side. I am recieving emails fine and they are not on the blocked list. I really hope they can fix this on Monday. Once fixed, I will proably move to a different bank provider as I don't want to go through this again.

Finally managed to sort this out. Looks like they made a typo in the email address. It was pretty obvious it was a typo so not sure how they didn't notice it.

Anyways, if anyone has a similar problem in the future, always ask them to check the email address is correct

of more concern to me is the fact that they changed the password reset mail presumably by you telling them over the phone that there was a 'typo' !

would be interesting to know what extra security they required from you before changing it i.e before changing the account email address
