Why is this thread closed?

Why is it closed? I can’t see any reason, what is the point of replying to a thread with the aim of helping and there doesn’t seem to be any adverse replies?

I was just about to ask the same thing I was wondering what the criteria were for threads being closed I know if it gets too argumentative then they can be closed but no idea why this one was closed
  • Perhaps because the OP is an ambassador , but dunno.

I must say that I am thoroughly unimpressed. At the least, I would expect someone who asked a question to acknowledge the advice they received. I'm surprised a forum ambassador failed to do this.

Maybe, the advice offered went whoosh past the OP's head? After all, they asked whether they should buy a '13', whatever that is. Even so, I'd have expected a forum ambassador to behave an awful lot better.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I thought that it was referring to the generation of the Intel processor.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Sorry to cause confusion on the other thread.
    I pressed the wrong button.
I was confused by some of the answers.
I asked if I should buy a 13 as that was suggested.
This was a personal question & not that of MSE.
Sorry again for any confusion or offence caused.
    This was unintentional.

You could at the very least reopen the thread and show a little bit of respect to the people who replied to you.

What deal did you find? May help others as its probably around the most common spec for people to get.
