Contest jurisdiction

If I have a court claim that has been sent to me and the court is not my local court, can I contest the jurisdiction?
The court that it has been assigned to is 45-60 mins away from me rather than the one that is 5 mins away

If its is a claim for under £10,000 then it will be assigned to your local court. The initial claim is issued by the CNBC. That is not a "court" per se. It is a business centre that deals with all claims.
After filing AoS and a defence, you would receive an N180 DQ and then a judge would allocate the claim to the nearest county court to the defendants address.1 -
I suspect you are misunderstanding that the claim form always comes from a central point (an admin Centre in Northampton). That has nothing to do with where the case will be heard, which (as an individual up against a company, I assume) you choose later, in your Directions Questionnaire.
Or are you further down the process and a London Court has been allocated or something?
Parking claim?DCBLegal?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
