RBS, NatWest and Ulster all show DDs after the first payment. Other banks show them when they are active on the account.
If your switch is ongoing then there is nothing you can do. You'll get details of the DDs that were active a day or two after the switch starts.
So do you think the DDs will get taken from my Barclays a/c on 27th?
By now you will have received a letter online stating exactly which DDs are being switched. If your DDs are listed then they will be set up on your Barclays account and pay from there from the day your switch completes. Otherwise they will not be transferred and you would have to set them up manually on your Barclays account.

Got a letter in the post yesterday confirming DDs transferring so all sorted!
