Which bank is it? Some don't show DDs until they are taken for the first time.

It varies a lot, I've had some show up in Monzo a day or two after setting them up, and others that took several weeks.
NatWest is one of the ones that doesn't show them until they've been taken.0 -

I'm only switching the account to Barclays to get the switch money so I'm anxious they go with the switch info as the switch will complete on 24th and the DDs are due to be paid on 27th

Royal Bank of Scotland is just Natwest with a different brand, so the direct debits won't show up until they have been taken.

RBS, NatWest and Ulster all show DDs after the first payment. Other banks show them when they are active on the account. If your switch is ongoing then there is nothing you can do. You'll get details of the DDs that were active a day or two after the switch starts.

So do you think the DDs will get taken from my Barclays a/c on 27th?

So I have a Chase account with 2 DD, one has already paid out, the other has not, and will not until the 1st Dec. It actually shows in my Chase account, but not paid out yet. If i switch to Barcleys will still be eligible for the switching bonus, or do both have to be paid out?

Having the DDs pay out is not a requirement for the switch bonus, they merely have to be transferred in with your switched account. They do impact Blue Rewards though.Robgmun said:So I have a Chase account with 2 DD, one has already paid out, the other has not, and will not until the 1st Dec.
