Hi Vectis, I do use a phone and Apple Watch for payments, but there are cards I have which cannot be used that way .. for example my local bus and train pass ..0

Starling debit cards are flat too.1

when they were all raised and there was no contactless they did get a bit worn but you just asked for a new one - not sure I would make it the dealbreaker in which account I had2

Most (not all) bank cards are flat/unembossed now, although many do have one or more Braille dots, like you say.
Also: HSBC (Braille), Santander (can't remember whether they have Braille or not).

Would be easy to remove a few braille dots if you wanted.1

But those aren't bank cards so you can just use the wallet for those things that don't support Wallet apps and for bank cards etc just use the phone (on a day to day basis).Horracce said:Hi Vectis, I do use a phone and Apple Watch for payments, but there are cards I have which cannot be used that way .. for example my local bus and train pass ..
Can't remember the last time I took my wallet out, being in London bus/train is all paid for using banking cards anyway.0
