Thanks for the replies, the reason for the post wasn’t cause I particularly wanted another card it was just to get some advice why the checkers are giving me such rubbish outcomes when I’ve already got credit cards being managed well and a whole bunch of green on time payment ticks etc, I didn’t think the defaults and CCJs would have a massive impact as they are years old now but I guess they are having more of an impact than I think, I’ve also got quite a few searches as well I’m guessing that isn’t helping too, I’ll just keep paying on time and hopefully one day I’ll have a great credit worthy record with good results on these checkers.

I had a look on the BT cards on this site as i have one at the moment and thought it might pay to have another one to shift the capital too ,i have no CCJ,s ,or defaults but the sites soft search said 0% chance of getting one of the cards ,i am sure that if i contacted the card company and they did a full search i would have got the card but as i am not desperate or bothered at the moment i just forgot about it.
I am sure i read something on this forum that said the MSE eligibility checker was not to be considered 100% true.0 -

Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0
