    £1.10 from the last 1 with zero usage but only a few days benefit from switching high usage items to the likely "saver slots"

    Would make sense, with 20 days left to fit in the 4 remaining test sessions for the year, it would be reasonably probable that NGESO want to get another one going very soon. 

    I’d hazard a guess that they may also avoid the big public holiday days, which potentially narrows it down a bit more. The reaction to a Christmas Day DFS event might be interesting to observe, but with overall demand lower on days like that a live activation probably wouldn’t be necessary and a test may be seen as an unnecessary burden.

    If it’s a test event it’ll only be 1 hour long, so Octopus would be given a slot of either 4:30-5:30 or 5:00-6:00. Guessing this is another short-notice “surprise session” coming up, so there will be a social media/Octo-whatsapp notifications once sign up is available but no Octo-app or emails for anyone looking out for those.

    We've had a series of power cuts in our close, seven in two weeks. It was off on Sunday evening for a while, then back, then off at 08:00 on Monday until 21:17. Yesterday's digging was supposed to fix the Rogue Circuit, we'll see...

    This has distorted our energy use patterns considerably, no idea what it has done to our reference slots. Got 25648 Octopoints so far, and there should be a payment from SSEN for yesterday's outage too. And they will pay for our takeaway last night, result!

    If there is one today we might still be running the tumble dryer as we catch up.
