Returning to Tesco Mobile

I used to be with Tesco Mobile for a few years but moved to Lebara but now in process of going back to Tesco Mobile.
After leaving Tesco Mobile my account was still available if you logged on with my old number number, nothing shows if it is active or not, but as the number had been ported to Lebara I thought it would have closed the account.
So now to return to Tesco I have to use a new sim with a temporary number as I assume the old Tesco Mobile sim was defunct after number ported away to Lebara.
I can log on to Tesco mobile with the temporary sim number and also with my old number to original account.
Have given Tesco the PAK number from Lebara to port to my sim temporary number and wasn't sure how this will work with the possibility of have two Tesco mobile accounts with the same number, Tesco Chat just said don't worry it will be okay.. :|
Today is the number transfer day and so far can no log onto Lebara so means number has gone, I can no longer log onto Tesco temporary number so assume it has changed to my ported number.
When I log on with my old number I only get to the account I was on originally, it is different to the temporary number account as I set up payment details ready to use.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, I don't know if they have just reused my old account or will a new acount follow later?

    I would wait 24/48hrs and it will probably fix itself.
    Online portals tend to be behind everything else.
  • I had something similar with Asda Mobile when I used them for a second time as a SIM swap intermediary.

    Was horrible, ended up having to abandon the original account and set up another with a different email address while Asda did some old-school database hacking to move the number over.

    As @Neil_Jones says, give it a couple of days to see if it sorts.
