Advice please re UKPC Final Reminder. Newbies thread has been read.

I've only just seen Fruitcake's post - and will respond to that shortly. As advised by Keith P and Patient Dream I have used the template and not responded to ZZPS. This week UKPC have replied to the template, saying: 

The parking charge was issued on 7th October 2023 by our parking operative at Power Court – Not parked within bay markings. Your name and address were obtained from the DVLA, as you are the registered keeper of the vehicle. The parking charge notice was sent to you on 14th October 2023 and a final reminder was sent to you on 28th October 2023. Please see attached PDF copies of these notices and a zipped folder of the photographs taken at the time the parking charge was issued. After no payment or correspondence from you, the parking charge was passed to our third-party debt recovery company for further action. Please be advised that the case is no longer with UKPC. We therefore would advise that you contact ZZPS with any queries moving forward on 01932 918916 or by emailing customerservices@zzps.co.uk

What is the recommendation re next action please? Perhaps that depends on the info I provide re Fruitcake's post - which in an effort to ease reading I will post separately next.

Fruitcake's queries: Where did the alleged event occur? Power Court Luton. I had searched on it before but could only find Luton airport cases on here. I'm pretty sure (Google searches) that the owner is a subsidiary of Luton Town FC as it is the site on which their new stadium is to be built. Please show us the photos provided by UKPC. Done. There was one of the car on the Final Notice that I received, the others were available on a website that they gave a link to. The sign is not legible when accessed via the website and whilst better in the photo they have now sent it is still not possible to read it. I will post the other pics separately

The sign doesn't have the £100 in a legible size text or font. Usual UKPC rubbish IMHO.

Thanks Coupon-mad. The advice previously was to send the template letter which I have done. What is the best way to respond to their reply - as shown in my 7/12 post at 10.19? Ought I be contacting Luton Town FC as well to ask whether the land is owned directly/indirectly by them?

Another update - letter received from GCTT Certificated Enforcements (which I see is a a trading name of ZZPS) asking me to contact them.

Lovely - ignore those waste of space eejits, as advised in the 4th post of the Newbies thread. 

If Luton is your local court you'll have fun next year if UKPC try one of their badly pleaded court claims!  IMHO, UKPC's new in-house litigation team don't know what they're doing and will be well out if their depth.

I have a letter (dated 15/1/24) from QDR solicitors- part is attached. I see plenty of comments about them in other threads. The letter mentions only "the debt" (£170) not how that amount is arrived at - which I have read is wrong on their part. I presume the letter is what is referred to as LBC and that I reply by email telling them that they must give 30 not 14 days - and use the format in the newbies thread. I have also read in another thread that they are incorrect to state that they were instructed by ZZPS. I have complained to Luton Town FC but so far only had an email acknowledgement. I will follow that up. Anything else recommended at this stage? Please.
