Hello
I am just asking that if anyone opening an account received their telephone six digit security number letter. If so can I assume the number is hidden at the bottom of the page under the security peel off tab - the reason I am asking is that my peel off tab is blank - not even a vague outline of a number....

Thanks for the info - I thought I was missing something - good luck when you get through - the conversation went around in circles for a while as they couldn't help me without the security number which was why I was calling! You get the idea....0

I've had the same problem: letter arrives with a plastic tab, but there's no number on the plastic tab or on the paper underneath the plastic tab. I spent ages looking at it to try and work out if I was missing something obvious0

Someone else here with the same problem! I phoned them and set up my online banking number over the phone - very easy, but it shouldn't be necessary.0

Just had a similar problem. I was unsure if the tab did not contain a number or if it was extremely difficult to read. I am inclined to think it was just extremely hard to read. AnywayI did get through and they allowed me to set my own numbr.
Incidentally that letter arrived today, well over a week since I opened the account.0 -
