    The router password is to allow you to alter settings inside the router itself.

    The most important thing to do is check the tablet was reset before it was given to you. If it wasn't it will still be logged into the previous owners account which would explain the request to log in.

    Returned to the Hub.
    Yes, it's been factory reset.
    But it won;t connect at the Hub either.
    Been handed back for someone else to look at. They'll give me a ring when it's either working or if they have another.
    Also seems another source seems to be the U3a. Not sure if there's a charge or which area groups may have them but I'll make enquiries next week.

    These voluntary groups are something I didn't expect but certainly welcome to people on low incomes. There are large data cards free to those in need. I won't accept one as it's of no use to me but hopefully someone will get it instead.
    So if you know anyone struggling please suggest to them. Places will vary according to area but in this day and age and prices, helping to fix/supply second hand etc is very welcome.
    Most are based on people giving a good but may be dated item to these groups to help others.
    So if you do have spare phones or tablets please also think of donating them for others less fortunate.
