This maybe a bit late for you, but I avoid all 'coatings' for windscreens as they tend to smear with wipers, but good for all other windows, Ultra Glaco is a great product. To remove it you're going to need to polish your windscreen, there are various products to do this.
Soft 99 Glaco Glass Compound Roll On, is a very good mildly abraisive glass cleaner, although why its called 'Roll on' beats me as it has a flat felt applicator - it's great for cleaning the windscreen if it ever gets a bit smeary.

Other products:

CarPro's CerriGlass, is a cerium oxide glass polish, best used with polishing machine or a drill with a foam polishing pad, much easier than using by hand.

There is also Barkeepers Friend powder, another excellent product to use on the windscreen, use with a very damp cloth and scrub away at the glass.

The RainX FAQ says that if it's smearing you should clean your wipers. I've rarely had issues with it smearing, but when I have, cleaning the wipers has sorted it.
