Should I replace my old night storage heaters

Hi I have two 15 years+ old Dimplex night storage heaters one of which has stopped working. Should I upgrade to modern storage heaters or change to an air source heat pump or wet underfloor heating downstairs. I have a wood burner as well and oil filled electric radiators in the 2 bedrooms. I’m on Economy 7 and have a 10 year old electric hot water tank. My grade II listed house is stone/cob so not great insulation.
Many thanks

Do your old (but not ancient) storage heaters keep your house warm? If so, fixing the broken one might be the most economical option. It's unlikely to need more than £100 in parts, unless something really drastic has happened to it.New HHR storage heaters will cost £6-700 each, plus fitting if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself. You can get an idea of the cost of an ASHP from Octopus here:N. Cob is quite a good insulator but also has a high thermal mass. Stone also has a high thermal mass. I suspect a heat pump would pair well with that construction, if you use the "low and slow" approach to heating. A coat of hemp and lime render on the outside of the house would confer some insulation as well as allowing the walls "breathe".
