Sim only upgrade EE confusion on price

Can someone put my mind at rest, I can't decide if this means 16.50 only for 3 months then onto 33 quid or not.
Link to the webpage of the deal shows as 16.50 a month?

£33.00 per month discounted to 16.50 per month for the first three months.3

It is only 3 months unless I’m missing something, and I did look at all of it myself recently - I recently renewed (albeit through retentions as there was a good enough deal to not make it worth going to smarty). I did look at everything before their offer - annoyingly, EE’s comparison page uses the initial discounted amount, rather than something more useful such as either an average over the fixed period, or alternatively the full cost of the fixed period.Peter
Debt free - finally finished paying off £20k + Interest.1 -
Thanks all, I've finally had the same confirmation from ee themselves, I had a lot of problems early in my 2 year contract with horrible customer service, both online and instore and had vowed never to use EE again but was tempted by what I thought was a great sim only deal, even they have come back and apologised to say it could be clearer. Looks like Im going to Smarty!0

I know the price is appealing but just because they use EE network doesn't mean you get the same product.
I am paying EE £33 a month deal and have had no problems like I did on smarty.0 -

Ive been with smarty before with no issues, so happy to try again, it's only a monthly rollling contract so can always switch easily, doubt Id ever use EE again with the way the treated me.0
