Just depends where you shop.
I frequent two different sainsburys. In one the staff are stalked by people for reduced to clear. There are band of 4 or 5 different people who seem to be pally with each other and will hang around for an about an hour to get reduced to clear. But once they get there you don't get a look in and it is like a rugby scrum. Some of the deals where great like danish pastries pkt of 2 for 10p:j that happens no more. Not sure why think someone on the staff has got the hump :rotfl:
But they don't know about my secret. The other Sainsburys is a few miles away there are no hassles getting near the reduced to clear. Got two beef joints the other week for 80p each and pork joint for 70p. If I had bought full price would have cost about £20. And one woman offered me another beef joint. But I turned it down as I already had two beef and one pork. Thought I might be seen as being greedy :rotfl:
But there is no scrum and the staff are very helpful. Even to the point of asking what you wanted and reducing that first of all.
Mind you in Tescos the other day bought some reduced to clear bacon 60p a pkt bought 3 came to £1.80 but 60p came off on some sort of offerWhich I bought 4 now
I have no problem with people wanting to save money as I am one of them with a limited budget. But there is never any need to hassle or to be rude or aggresive to the staff or other customers. And I for one will not take part in rugby scrum no matter how cheap something is.
And no I am not telling where my secret sainburys is.
Yours
