PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. It's always good to go back to a house you love at various times of the day and weekends.

I wish there was a "thumbs up" emoji I could use for this thread. The crime stats for small streets are usually cumulative for a few streets, check nearby streets too.If there is a childrens home (ie one house with 1 or 2 kids in care or just over the care age but being supported) then the stat could be right. They can generate a crime wave easily because staff have to report everything they do and say, sometimes true, sometimes not.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.2

Yeah, it's not just the road, it looks like an area (likely the first half of the postcode plus the following number). Just tried my own postcode and then one of a business six streets away, the numbers are the same. A road with a different first number in the second half of the postcode comes up different1
