Fry's peppermint creams are still available (I've seen them in Morrisons and Poundland, not sure about other retailers)

  • I'm going to miss Caramac, but I think it's declined because it was so hard to find. I know of only one shop in this town that sold it.
I will miss it too, loved the taste and the grittiness as it melted in the tongue.
I agree the decline maybe due to how hard it is/was to find, and maybe due to supermarkets as they bring in their own "taste the difference, no frills, value" versions of products.

However if you know where to look you could find them in places like home bargains, Poundland and other discount stores. Which BTW seem to have these well known brands like Mr Kipling, Fry's chocolate (Turkish delight), which seem to be slowly fading out in supermarkets for their own named spin on products.

    From the 90s, Brannigans crisps.
Ham & Mustard and the Lamb & Mint flavours were incredible.
I was going to say these but mainly the beef and mustard. They e only been discontinued a year or so but it seems year

Im not sure if they ever existed or if they were a figment of my imagination, but I seem to remember a Frys creme bar with different flavours in each of the segments.
You can buy these in Iceland and poundland's. Poundland's are cheaper tho as Iceland do them in a fancy box...
Blue wrapper is plain fondant centre, green wrapper mint centre and the orange wrapper orange flavour fondant.
They started last year or the year before a strawberry (red) and raspberry (pink wrapper).
Lovely and 100% guaranteed to bring on heart burn.

  • As for me I wish they being back this... Yes you could argue it's like Cadbury caramel but I dont like Cadbury's nasty after taste.

I'd bring back the missing half of the ones on the shop shelves.
