I agree the decline maybe due to how hard it is/was to find, and maybe due to supermarkets as they bring in their own "taste the difference, no frills, value" versions of products.
However if you know where to look you could find them in places like home bargains, Poundland and other discount stores. Which BTW seem to have these well known brands like Mr Kipling, Fry's chocolate (Turkish delight), which seem to be slowly fading out in supermarkets for their own named spin on products.0 -

They started last year or the year before a strawberry (red) and raspberry (pink wrapper).

As for me I wish they being back this... Yes you could argue it's like Cadbury caramel but I dont like Cadbury's nasty after taste.
