Use the bespoke Smart Parking DCB Legal defence in the group thread by member sluzz

Just use the Smart Parking Group Thread defence. Do not show it here ...please no!

No further advice will be needed until you get a hearing date in the Summer and you don't need to write anything yourself in the defence. It is written already.

The claim will end up discontinued before the hearing this year. Just play the game: follow the easy 8 steps covered in the Template Defence sticky thread (albeit you are using the Smart Parking special version).

No link is needed to the NEWBIES FAQS thread - which you must also read post 2 of, especially the red heading IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN' - nor will we provide a link to the Template Defence Announcement thread.

With an issue date of 13/01/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 18/01/26 and before or on 01/02/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 16/02/26

You can choose to contest jurisdiction of the claim made against you. I shouldn't tick that box, am i right?

Depends if you are in England and Wales,  or not. ?  If yes, leave it alone 

I don't understand why you are not following the AOS Dropbox link guidance in post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements. !

Hi all

I have been through all the stages until mediation where I didn't offer any monies and have now received the letter. See attached. Does this mean the court proceedings will happen and they they won't be cancelling it?

It means it will be allocated to a court (by a judge) and you will receive a Notice of Allocation telling you which court and a date. Also on the NoA will be a deadline for the claimant to pay the court fee and for submission of witness statement for both you and claimant. It is at or just before the payment date that claimants usually give up.
