British Airways cancelled flight and rebooked

My flight was cancelled with BA (0830 in morning) and I was rebooked onto 1645 one the same day (no discussion just rebooked). 1645 then departed late 1900. Now trying to claim back for cancelled flight but my confirmation on BA booking is no longer showing 0830 flighty to claim against. I am still trying to make the claim but what is best course of next action? I feel they will try and worm out of this.
I also have receipts for monies spent in the airport as well. Any advice? BA communication was awful. Was told would get an email saying flight cancelled but just notification on app.
Any advice for course of action.

were you given a reason for the cancellation?0

No not told anything except a nice member of BA said there was a problem with the plane other than that nothing. There was no weather problems and I actually took a picture of the departure board to prove it was just our flight affected.0

Are you saying that you're unable to start a claim at https://www.britishairways.com/travel/feedbackclaims/public/en_gb/select/dcd using your booking reference? Choosing the cancellation option should allow you to claim the compensation and the reimbursement of expenses, but what happens when you try?Emwhite131 said:Now trying to claim back for cancelled flight but my confirmation on BA booking is no longer showing 0830 flighty to claim against.
