What happens after cancelling auto-renewal of a 30-day mobile plan with lycamobile? is the telephone number cancelled or it will be active just to receive calls?
Basically I have cancelled the auto renewal on the last day (today) but I activated the new sim card with the new operator today as well and the number can only be transferred through PAC on Tuesday. I wonder if I should just keep active lycra as well till the portability is done.

You don't need to do that.If you want to keep the number but move provider all you have to do is get your PAC code off your old provider (In your case Lycamobile) and give it and your new temporary number to your new provider. This will have the effect of cancelling the service with Lycamobile when the PAC switches, the day after the next working day, in thise case about 11am on Tuesday.0 -
Yes, the only problem is that the lyca 30-day plan ends today so if I didn't switch off the auto renewal I would have paid the new month tomorrow. Does that mean that only the plan is cancelled or they completely delete the number as well tomorrow?Neil_Jones said:giogiu1974 said:What happens after cancelling auto-renewal of a 30-day mobile plan with lycamobile? is the telephone number cancelled or it will be active just to receive calls?

I believe that only the plan is cancelled.
Just get a pac and move from Lyca mobile if you can. After they were hacked some weeks ago their operation is in a mess.1 -
Anything is possible with lyca, but you should just go back to payg call rates, so if you don't have a credit balance you will be incoming calls only.giogiu1974 said:

Your sim should remain active for at least another 3 months.1
