Just looking this £125 offer for the HSBC Global Money account but I'm just curious if the money that gets transferred to the Global Money account, can this be withdrawn?

One would assume so, it's just another account, and it's your money!
From the FAQsHow do I withdraw funds from my HSBC Global Money Account?
Log in to the HSBC UK Banking app and follow these steps:
- Select Global Money from your account list
- Select the currency you want to withdraw
- Select Convert or Withdraw
- Select the account you want to withdraw the funds to
- Input the amount to be withdrawn and select Continue
- Review and confirm

Yes you can withdraw money from the account to the current account.0

I tried to apply earlier, but was rejected. No reason given but I have a decent credit score so wonder if they are restricting it now0

You mean for the Advance account? HSBC has always been very picky for this one. It doesn't offer much extra anymore but it used to be, and perhaps still is, its, 'premium' account for higher earners and came with some additional perks.Veteransaver said:I tried to apply earlier, but was rejected. That would be HSBC premier which requires an income of 75k.wmb194 said:

Advance used to have some minimum stipulation as well. Anyway, people have always complained that it's harder to get than you'd think it should be. There was a time people were complaining that they had to take their payslips into branches to prove their incomes to show they could meet the minimum pay-in requirement - £1,750pm?Lions_89 said:

I was one of them. I've always had to take paper printouts of my digital payslips into their branches like it was 1995!wmb194 said:

It was a minimum of £1750 pm depoisted to be eligible, and in return you got an antequated online interface, no perks and paranoid security.
I've fast switched one of my secondary accounts to them a couple of times in the past to get the £175 switch incentives, then moved elsewhere as soon as I met the T's and C's.
IIRC, their "Premier" account offering only requires 50K saved with them to be eligible, which is one of the lowest eligibility requirements out there , so it could be much easier for some to apply for that rather than their Advance account.
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.1 -
Yes I also had to go to branch to get the account.wmb194 said:

Not sure what the incentive would be, and this was when rates were below 1%0 -
I've just been declined online but my wife got it. Weird as I normally have a better credit rating although have just taken out a car loan.
First time I've ever been rejected0 -
In guessing it's not worth trying again because of the credit checking0
