Hi,
I have the Barclaycard forward credit card and had a few questions please. It has been activated.
I can see my PIN in the app, but the card details aren’t showing. The site says card details should be visible. Can anyone with the Barclaycard Forward card confirm if they can see their card details in the app please?
For some reason there doesn’t seem to be an option to freeze the credit card, like you can for the current account cards. Is this normal please?

I can see my full Barlaycard details in the app. Maybe it's a timing thing?There is no option to freeze credit cards in the Barclays app (aside from reporting the card as lost/stolen). Not that I've found anyway. Nationwide is the same (debit cards can be frozen, but not credit cards).2

Their on-line services are a bit rubbish.
E.G. I frequently get an e-mail to say the statement is available and it's not.1 -
@fingerbobs - thanks for letting me know. Details still not showing, but do now have physical card and only opened recently, so perhaps it'll show in a few days. Odd that cards can't be frozen, but thanks for explaining regardless!

My very first statement date was dated about two days after my card arrived although, I wasn’t notified by email until a couple of days after that. It then took a further day to show in the Barclays app. I’m not sure if this timescale is usual.I’ve wondered about something for a while so hope you don’t mind if I add to your thread - I would like to know if it’s possible to have transaction notifications when using the physical card as per the Barclays debit card. Do I also need the Barclaycard app or is that superfluous to the main Barclays app?0

For me also, I have never been able to find a way to temporarily freeze/unfreeze my Barclaycard in the app. And it is usually 2 working days after the statement date when I receive a text to say the statement is available, but it's usually another day or so before it actually shows up in the app or website. But I find the summary statement total and minimum payment value updates when I get the text. Also there are times when the card just doesn't display in the app for some reason, I just wait a day and it's back. Regarding cashback values, I can see my Barclaycard cashback in the app, and choose whether to credit this to the next statement or wait. But mine is not a"forward" card, so it might be different?

My Avios BC details are starred out **** in the app with exception to the last 4 digits.
There is no freeze/unfreeze function.
The statements seem to be polled on the 1st day of the month for me but the actual documents won't be visible until about the 4th day in the month. (Min payment due and date due is updated before document is visible). I was led to believe that statements were generated based on when the account was applied for and opened? I opened mine at the end of a month (it was on the 27th October IIRC) and within about 3/4 days had a statement notification and documents took a while to follow.
Don't have the cashback thing so can't comment.
I've found BC to be challenging at times but overall easy to work with as far as the online account / app management is concerned.

No view card details as an option, when I request the view pin option I have to put my app pin code in and then it reveals the pin for 30 secs that is it.
My full card number is displayed on the statements but the expiry and CSC code are only on the physical card.If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
