If it's financed, then contact the finance company who'll have a lot more sway in getting money back from the dealership. If you paid it all by bank transfer then try the bank.Failing that, you can always send them a Letter Before Action, telling them if the money isn't paid within 7 days you'll take them to court.
The month's tax is pretty much gone, but it shouldn't take as long as 6 weeks', that's just the worst case.
