Parked Self Charging Electric Vehicle in a Train Station Car Park in an Electric Charging Bay

I am now very confused from a quick look on Google maps, there appears to be a very large car par, which the OP themselves appears to confirm:
Within that there seem to be two blocks of four each (i.e. 8 total) EV charge points (each block of four operated by a different provider).Car Parking
Spaces
400 spaces
Accessible spaces
32 spaces
Parking charges
Parking is free
It seems very hard to understand why anybody would park in those limited number of EV charge spaces when not charging an EV.1 -
Hi, yes I have had something similar. I do have a plug in hybrid but I hadn't plugged it in as it had been charged overnight and NLW station is only 2 miles away.
Before everyone gets on their high horse, there were literally no parking spaces left, the only parking spaces were the two sets of four EV charge spaces. So I should be allowed to park if they are the only free spaces, based on the original signage.
The signage says the carpark is free, the signage on the floor says "electric vehicles only" so without anywhere else to park and only 5 mins to my train, after doing a few loops of the carpark, I decided to park in the EV place.
I have had multiple letters from Debt Recovery Plus, who seem to keep sending them without acknowledgment of my responses, but keep saying I am ignoring their letters. Tried calling them, on hold for 25 mins, even screenshot my last call duration to them.
You can only send a message through their website as well and you have no proof that you have sent anything to them.
Any help with these idiots would be much appreciated.0 -
Stop taking the bait.
You aren't meant to phone greedy gits at DR Plus. Not sure why you are wasting any time & energy on a letter chain of threatograms that the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread already features and covers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
