Oh sorry I didn’t realise I was looking at a different product,. I’ll need to remember to check for new issues of this then as it’s something I’d be interested in myself too, although would need to be app only as we are in Scotland. There seem to be so many building societies that I am unaware of, but that’s why I joined the forum, to get more knowledge and information on this type of thing. Hopefully any Christmas launches would be shared in the MSE app, Thanks so much.0

There are also lots of small banks/savings providers that you have probably never heard of as well.CY24 said:Oh sorry I didn’t realise I was looking at a different product,. This comparison site is pretty good but you just need to remember when you get to the comparison page you want to click on 'Rate Order' in the top left hand of the screen to get the full lost and not just the promoted ones.

i think you said he has an account with starling, it may be worth looking to switch this account to say first direct, you can switch without direct debits at the moment and will receive £175 in bonus, you also get access to a fixed regular saver at 7%. the only stipulation is you have to pay in at least £1,000 within 3 months to get the bonus but you can just put in that amount straight away and then withdraw it straight away.0

Thank you both for your answers, that’s great. Helpful to know Albermarle as I never ever done this, so always just seen the ones which were promoted. Also, I didn’t realise first direct didn’t require direct debits either so could be more suitable for him.I’m off now to ask a question on the credit cards section for myself. Kind of feel as I’ve just joined I’m putting all these questions out there! Thank you though to those who come back with advice, it really is helpful.0
