Ten years of OS updates is very impressive. Where is this stated please?
If I recall correctly, that Duet 3 was £249 when that link was posted. I just looked today and it is £399. How can the price move in that manner? It is completely nonsensical.

Welcome to the world of heavy discount marketing. The price of these seems to be extremely volatile with frequent deep discounts. This appears to be the "normal price RRP" which they have to sell for at some time so they can advertise discounts at other times. It takes me back to the days of MFI – we once went in were told to order next week when the sale would be back on.
If you want one I would just monitor the price till it goes back down. I bought the previous model at less than half RRP just by watching the prices. It was a bargain at less than £140.
Fusion F202,( android) not as slick or as fast as an iPad but is a third of the price and a big plus is that you can expand it's memory using the included micro usb slot. It also has good graphics and reasonable sound. Been using mine for 6 months now and would recommend.
