Is there a payg plan with no monthly charge available with Lebara?
What happens to my account if I turn off the automatic renewal, can i just then top up and payg, although I haven't seen anywhere the calls, sms and data charges anywhere?
Are there any really true payg providers now, we used to just buy £10 top up with tesco mobile but I think even they have monthly plans now?

Just order a free SIM and buy top-up...

The only problem with PAYG on Lebara is data is turned off without a bundle/plan. Their reasoning is to stop inadvertently using up credit through data use. I'm not sure if customer services can enable this for you if you contact them though - worth a try.

Good spot, I hadn't noticed this change. Seems that since 24 May 23 no data outside a bundle/plan. If your Lebara SIM was active before this it will still have PAYG data available.

I know someone who has PAYG with O2. I sometimes buy a top-up for him at the post office.

Yep, O2 Classic tariff SIMs still available on eBay for a quid or so.

You need to top up at least £10 every 120 days, so £30 a year minimum spend

With tesco you need to opt out of buying a rocket pack and ask to be transferred to triple credit or preferably lite tariff.

All payg providers will offer monthly packs now, but they aren't compulsory.

I still have Tesco PAYG sim and haven't topped up for a couple of years. Credit was £10, now down to £5.50 and still working ok
