Hi everyone, well its several years later and awhile back the debt collector letters started up again from another company called Moorside legal. I know the advice is to ignore debt letters and so far I have done that but as this has started up again after such a long time, should I be concerned? The last letter has come with a reply form which gives me lots of options to choose from ie: Own up to the debt, own up to partial debt, deny debt, claim financial problems etc. Assuming I should ignore... ???

Definitely not,  it sounds like it's a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice,  from Moorside Legal

You definitely should not ignore a Letter of Claim

In which case study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad once more, especially reading post 2 and email the LoC response template to Moorside Legal

Please change your thread title. Those words are giving us nothing useful and I hate 'next steps' as a phrase anyway as it sounds like we're teaching you to walk (yeah I know, maybe it's just me!).

Change it to Moorside Legal and the name of the PPC. It's much more helpful for you and us to engage with knowledge of what your thread is about.

    Now:

Search the forum for Moorside Legal.

Read some threads about cases exactly like yours, to learn & be ready without having to ask here. It's not something new or different. No need to check the advice in the NEWBIES thread about LBC stage. We don't need to see the responses.

See you at court claim stage.

     :)

Regarding the template for the reply to LOC email- are we meant to keep in the bit about faffing about?
