It was payday this week so I have taken some cash out for the pot and also added a bit of change; £51.20 added.  Very happy with my start!

No actual cash potted this week, but I have set up the 'round up' function on my Natwest current account and 91p has gone in this week.
    Does this count?

    Hi madlyn
Yes, this very much counts- well done!

Tonight I found 51p in the depths of my handbag, so have potted it.

Number 33 checking back in :) I started back up when I'd banked the last lot and am happy with my £500 target this year. Hopefully I'll reach it. There are 5 binbags of my daughters clothes in my lounge if I get my act together I could make a big dent in that total selling some. If anyone has any motivation and energy going spare send it my way please 🙏

Thanks for starting the challenge again @Sue-UU it took a chunk out of a credit card last week that I would have spent otherwise.

A great start to the year LMD!!! 😀

You don't need to join again CapricornLass I just transfer everyone across each year, you're still 035. All the best. 😊

You may be a bit arid for a while, Vicky but at least you've got off to a good start!!

Such a rotten loss Saver-upper but I think I'd be taking the philosophical view in thinking it'll have benefited some poor soul. 😔 💷 😯🤩 Keep a look out just in case...

    An excellent beginning Hetty!!! 😂

Starting your round up in Natwest gets you started madlyn, and it definitely counts!! 😊

Very well done with your £2.19 LMD! However, what on earth are receipt snapping apps?? 🤔

You're most welcome MrMrsR, I'm so pleased potting stops you wasting!! 😊 I've got motivation and energy going so come on the thread often and you'll get it from us all as well, plus that's what the threads for! 😉 At least you're on your way, then selling your DDs clothes...!

Thanks Hicksy for your words. I'll sort you out on SPC 16 in a while. I realised the link wasn't right the day before yes

You're most welcome, Hicksy. In future the day for everyone Declaring will always be the same day as the end date that is the at the bottom, such as the 24th for next October.
All the very best with your £250 Target.

Enjoy your Weekend folks however you spend it!

    Sue

The end date for SPC is on the 24th October

Well, the arid spell hasn’t started yet. I normally get a sandwich delivered to school on a Friday (as part of a larger group order) and decided not to this week, saving £2.80. That has now been transferred into my SPC account!
