Vectone mobile gone awol , network gone dead.

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this but I'm pulling my hair out. 48 hrs ago my vectone mobile sim disconnected from the network I've been trying to call customer services for 2 days most of the time I'm in a queue of 150 to be cut off after 2hr wait. And this has happened multiple times Its a pathetic service. I wouldn't mind but this is my business number that is connected to a system that needs to verify with text. Because its a government system it takes a week to verify and clear a new number. What can I do its seriously affecting my day to day. I've made a complaint to vectone but no response. Can any of you guys help me please I need to recover my number

Have you tried the sim in another phone to rule out issues with the handset?

If I were you I'd get myself a new number and start that verification process asap.

That piece in ISP Review and some other rumblings online don't bode well for this service.

yes i have no joy , plus even had to buy 2 new sims to try and update my sim but it seems im not the only one suffering.

Iv not had a vectone number for years,but yesterday,i got a e mail off them with a pac code.
Doesnt look good for vectone does it?

I also received an email with a PAC code for a Vectone SIM card.  Reading online, it seems the PAC code is useless unless the Vectone network is active. 

As the phone isn't my main phone, it's not a major inconvenience to me.  But I can image that this will cause a lot of disruption, especially to those who just want a cheap, no-thrills network.

I have received a PAC code with no explanation I've tried contacting them via webchat, phone, email and had no response. The website tells you what to do if your sim isn't working to obtain a replacement but the page does not allow you. This has been going on since 24 oct 2023.
I also have a sim that they have no email for so haven't received a pac code and I used this for incoming calls only, I have no credit on it.
I believe that all the lines where there is no credit on the account have been suspended and issued a pac code.
I'm sure their going to go into liquidation soon. Do not sign up with them.
If anyone who doesn't have credit but still have their line live let me know please.
