Data for 3 days in USA? e-sim? Airalo?
Options
I'm going on a cruise in a couple of weeks and will be in the USA for a few days.
I was planning on using data to navigate. What would be a reliable and economical way to do this? I'm on ID mobile with a Pixel 7. ID charges 30p per mb of data abroad.
I read a little about Airalo which sounds decent but wondered if it's the best option?
Also can I do anything additional to ensure I don't receive any unnecessary charges?

Pre download maps for the area you will be in and then use WiFi in any locals you are for other connectivity.
You will likely be able to get away with that if in a major city.
You can then switch off roaming and you won't get any charges.1 -
as above you don't need data to navigate if you download maps on wifi. Both Google maps and Apple maps support this.Make sure roaming is turned off on your phone.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1
