1. Which 'guidelines' are these. If you are a disabled person, the Equality Act 2010 should be essential reading and understanding so you do not face the kind of unlawful treatment being meted out to the OP.beanielou said:

This was my personal opinion & not that of MSE.2. Morrisons are the most helpful of the big beast supermarkets where their customers are being unfairly harassed. They certainly wouldn't want to be involved in an EA 2010 claim!
3. But, how does it help the OP in the context of this being a forum primarily designed to save people money? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not just legally wrong but it is also incorrect to say that "rules is rules" (effectively) to a clearly disadvantaged disabled person in any scenario. Reasonable adjustments are a right.
You are not held to arbitrary fixed time limits if your disability means you might need longer.
Retailer cancellation is separate to this.
We don't expect you to know that but we were sad to see several posters queue up to wrongly tell a disabled victim of a scam private PCN, that they are held to unfair inflexible time limit rules.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Even as blue badge holders we still have to follow the rules.Maybe you should acquaint yourself with some of the Parking ATA's COP (rules) then, for example from the BPA who are Euro's ATA:16 Disabled motorists16.1 The Equality Act 2010 says that providers of services to
the public must make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to remove
barriers which may discriminate against disabled people.Giving additional time to a disabled person is a "reasonable adjustment" but as we know on this forum private parking management is about greed not making adjustments!

How sad this Newbie had to read those first 7 comments on a different board before having the opportunity to receive advice from the knowledgeable experts on the parking board.
It's a pity but understandable that Newbie @sheilah199 hasn't come back on and be so very sad if they've gone and paid the £170 charge that would have been cancelled with correct guidance from the parking board experts.7 -

Well said. I fear the OP has long since given up. Such a shame.
