HI All!
I need a new mobile phone so was going to buy a "SIM Free" one. However, I noticed that the phone I am looking at (Nokia 6300) is about £130 SIM Free, but if I buy on Pay as you Go I can pick the phone up for £69 as long as I buy £10 credit!?
This seems a bit mad to me! Cant I just use the £10 then throw away the SIM card and then use my current one!? Even if I need to unlock the phone it would only cost an extra £10!?
If its as easy as this, why do they even bother offering phones at such high prices SIM free!?
Sorry if I'm being stupid, but this seems so obvious it would surprise me if there wasnt a catch, but to be honest I cant see how there can be!?
I would appreciate your opinions and hopefully this could help people who may be thinking of spending so much on a "Sim Free" phone for a ridiculous price!
Thanks!
Dean
