valiant boilers

my 70yr old mum is having trouble with her 5yr old valiant boiler the pressure keeps going down below the 1 every day we have had engineer out 3 times but seems to just fob my mum off no rads have any leaks im fed up with it!!!!any ideas any1/???pleeeeaaassseee!!!!

Have a look outside the house where the boiler is fitted and you should see a 15mm pipe coming out of the wall and going nowhere. This is the pressure relief valve discharge pipe ,and it might be doing just that. See if it's been dripping.
The ultimate problem might be the expansion vessel needs re- pressurising.
