Feedback needed Samsung E390 black/ E250 Silver & LG KG800 Choco

Hi I'm thinking of getting one of these phones for my son after xmas. I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice with regards to the quality of the phone. Above are the only 3 phones that I can find at Asda supermarket that has bluetooth, apart from other gadgets.

I have heard that the LG KG800 chocolate screen gets damaged very easily. What about Samsung E390 black (£59) or Samsung E250 silver (£49.93)?

DON'T buy the E250 unless you want to lose a fingernail (or five) when trying to remove the battery cover. That was my experience with it anyway, not sure whether the one I received was faulty or if they're all the same!

Although the Chocolate looks good I found the touch screen a pain. Easily gets grubby and far too sensitive. Pity but I found it unuseable.
Now have a Samsung E250. Works ok although had to turn off all the sound effects and lights on the keypad to make the battery last more than a day or so. The earphones supplied suitable for those with giant earholes - honestly couldn't get them into my normal sized ears. Did try other earphones but noticeable clicks when changing tracks on the mp3 player. Found using an extra flash card to increase memory a bit fiddly also. Camera so-so.
Can't vouch for the fingernail issue but after all that as just a phone it certainly does the job, great sound quality on calls but a bit functional.
