Uswitch & Lebara new website
Options
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything.
I'm trying to switch to a new plan on an existing sim via Uswitch (and, perhaps optimisticly, Topcashback) using the following link that I've found posted elsewhere here:
https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/cart/lebara-sim-choice.html
Initially the pages show the correct discounted price (for the first 3 months as per a new customer), but after selecting my existing sim, only the full price is shown on the Lebara payment screens. Has anyone else proceeded with a paymemt this way, and if so, what were you actually charged? I'm looking at the unlimited plan which is £9.98 as opposed to the full £24.99, so quite a difference! I appreciate that I could order a new sim, but I would very much like to avoid this if possible (not very environmentally friendly), and it used to be possible to use an existing sim on a new plan prior to the new Lebara website going live.
Many thanks!

As far as I'm aware you now have to switch out of Lebara to another provider and then back in again.1

masca, I think even prior to the website change, if you wanted to use the existing sim then you couldn't take advantage of the 3 month introductory new customer price, just the higher existing sim price that you have quoted.
Is unlimited a must ? If you could make do with 30gb per month there is this Uswitch offer. You won't get the new customer intro offer of £3.58, but you will get the existing sim price of £8.95:
https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/uswitch/p/441129.html
After clicking BUY, do not proceed when asked for personal details. Click the following link and select EXISTING SIM:

As well as the 30gb offer above, these offers are also available on existing sims:
3gb £4.40 https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/msm/p/441223.html
5gb £4.90 https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/msm/p/441174.html
15gb £6.95 https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/uswitch/p/441122.html
21gb £7.95 https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/uswitch/p/441210.html

Thanks very much for the replies. I reluctantly opted to order a new sim yesterday. It arrived today (good service!) and is made of recycled materials, so that's something at least! Thanks again.0
