Extension for window handle?

I have a small window in my bathroom that's high up, but it's awkward to open/close without standing right up on tip-toe. Does anything like a handle extender exist? It would only need to extend by maybe 20cm. The current handle is one of those standard new double-glazing handles. I wouldn't really need to turn it, just use it to push/pull the window before and after a shower. I had a google I couldn't find anything specific so if there any other ideas I'm all ears.

Hi,

all you need is a piece of wood, with a hook or key ring, ( to slip over handle) fixed at one end, that's for the pull, and plain at other end for the push.

A small step up so one can reach the window looks far more aesthetic.
