Seems an odd way to indicate that the page has been removed, but there you go.

If I recall correctly when this issue was raised with our provider, A notification remaining about a deleted/inaccessible post is an intentional choice.

While some might prefer that a notification is removed if the content is not available, others don't want a notification to disappear. In the same way we wouldn't/couldn't remove an email notification, the on-site notification is not removed.

Hi @MikeJXE - threads can be removed for a variety of reasons, and this is the message you will see if a thread is no longer viewable.

Ok Fair enough

I guessed it was something like that but it could be clearer like rather than don't have permission it could say post removed due to breaking MSE rules (if thats what it was doing)
