Mobile no displaying as landline #

Hi,
I had a call from someone who told me my mobile number was displaying as a landline number on his screen, I don't have a divert to landline active, so now I'm wondering if I've been a victim of fraud, and how can I find out? 
The person had called me said he dialed my mobile number (it isn't pre-programmed in his phone), and during the conversation, he looked at the screen his end, and it was displaying a number starting with 0161

Have you tried it with a mobile phone of someone sat next to you, to see what it says?

What do you think the "fraud" here would entail? Have you Googled the 0161 number?

They could have been using one of these cheap call services and its displaying that number. 0161 is a Manchester code I believe.

What fraud do you think could be happening? Not sure I can think of one.

No.Its the other way round, the OP rang a friend and the OPs number was showing as a 0161 on the friends phone.
