Not an exhaustive list, but a fun walk back over about 30 years!
Those Cyrix 6x86 CPUs were awful, they caused me so much trouble in the 1990s as they didn't implement every detail of the x86 instruction set properly and would randomly fail to call interrupt handling code on an interrupt (maybe as little as one in one hundred thousand, but it was enough when your software is based around the interrupt mechanisms of the CPU) .
I lost weeks of my working life to identifying that. I had other problems with AMD CPUs, but those were stability related and may have been down to the chipsets rather than the CPUs. As a result I haven't been back to AMD since Intel introduced the Core range, as I value stability over outright performance.
For GPUs I went to AMD from NVidia recently for my gaming PC as the GTX 980 was showing its age on BG3, and it's been fine. I've used both at different times over the years without problems.
