Do you know if youhave an Electric Shower?
In your old house did the shower come from your gas boiler?

EssexHebridean said:Bright or Loop might help the OP to at least establish whether it's periods of high use or a high background load causing the issues, but I've no idea how the installation of those works without an IHD as I know I needed the details from my IHF to install both and set them up. Perhaps someone else might be aware of this?Reed0

Did you get any joy with Eon.
I've contacted them today as I noticed my IHD before I went to bed last night was using 0.33KWH when it's usually 0.03. It was like that all night and according to Bright I'd used 4.8kwh by 4pm today. I never use that amount in a day.
I'm in work today. When I was in work on Monday my total usage for the day was 1.11kwh !
Eon have said I have to pay £110 to have the meter tested which is ridiculous.
Same thing happened on Christmas day, a mysterious 0.33KWH being drawn with everything turned off. It didn't last long and I didn't bother reporting it as it was only a few pounds.
Any suggestions I'd be most grateful.
Thanks0
