    Help needed please?

I am taking my parents to Rome and although Mum has no problem getting Travel Insurance, Dad is 79 and therefore many companies will not insure him. Can anyone recommend any companies to try?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bee

Enter 'elderly insurance'in the google search. Some companies will come up.Also
visit www.egg.com They only cover to 65yr olds for annual policies but they will cover you for single trips up to 85 yrs old.My father's last Christmas was
£17.85 for two weeks (europe)I was able to use my egg card and got 10% off
as it was my treat.I have pm you just in case you miss my post.

https://www.allcleartravel.co.uk provide cover for essentially all ages, i think. they also do medical conditions, might be worth a go.
if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.

Our travel cover is through our Bank account and covers my husband until he is 80.

Living in the sunny? Midlands, where the pork pies come from:

saving for a trip to Florida and NYC Spring 2008

    Total so far £14.00!!

This was a really useful post, my 83 year old mother in law was quoted £146 for one weeks travel insurance to europe. I asked her to hold off booking while I checked it out and thanks to this post I managed to get her a weeks insurance with egg for £32. A great saving of £114.

just for completeness I would also look at https://www.insureforall.com in the future - travel insurance for over 65's only.
