Heading on holiday to an EU country shortly.
We used to have Three contracts with 'feel at home' which made sense.
Now, I have O2 & Lebara and Mrs B has Lebara
I understand that roaming data is included in our contracts, but what about making and receiving calls - is that too?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Roaming in Europe

Whether you need to travel for work or leisure, we understand the importance of staying connected. That’s why we let you use your Lebara SIM in Europe just like how you would use it whilst you are in the UK. This means that you can use the data and minutes included in your allowance in the EU at no extra cost. If you exhaust your full allowance while in the EU, you can buy a new plan or add a bolt on to continue being able to use services. If you add PAYG credit, standard PAYG charges will apply.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I’m currently abroad and recently moved onto a Lebara contract - I’ve made and received calls, sent SMS messages and used the data - all still showing as a zero cost. The only thing I had to do was to set up the APN to get the internet working.

It depends where in 'abroad ' you are. As I understand it on lebara calls and texts to UK numbers will be free whether you are in uk or in europe or india, calls and texts to non-uk numbers will come out of your limited free international minutes even if you are in the same country.
If you are outside Europe and India you will face additional charges.

In Italy for a week  - the OP said they were heading out to the EU shortly. I found that all my calls, texts and data have been included for free as expected. I just had to set up the APN details when I landed to get the data to work.

Just keep an eye on your calls and texts to non-uk numbers, as lebara's international allowance is quite limited.
