Lloyds Switch hasn't... switched?

Hey all,
Just wanted to check I hadn't missed something here...
I was a Lloyds basic current account holder, and saw about the £175 switch deal when you signe up for a Club Silver account.
I followed the steps, created the new account, and after 14 days... nothing? I just now have 2 accounts, with everything still coming in and out of account 1.
Have I missed a step or do I just need to wait? I've called Lloyds a couple of times and haven't been able to get through - they've been a bit of a nightmare.
Any guidance would be fab.
Cheers!

Did you give, or were you given, a date for the switch?0

Have you misunderstood the offer? You need to switch an account held with *another bank* using the CASS to a new, qualifying Lloyds current account.bathl said:Hey all,

You've clearly misunderstood the steps that you claimed to follow. There's no bonus just for signing up to a new account; the bonus is for switching (i.e. moving) an account from a different bank to Lloyds.bathl said:

I've attached a screenshot below of the FAQ section which suggests otherwise? That's the guidance that convinced me to switch.

Thanks, but not sure it's quite that clear. See attached.

On the contrary, it's very clear. Didn't you read the last sentence of the FAQs which you've quoted, and which you say convinced you to switch?:Thanks, but not sure it's quite that clear. See attached.
"You must complete your switch using the Current Account Switch Service to switch a bank account held elsewhere."3 -
You can't go just by FAQ that cover only some parts of the whole picture. Yes, as an existing customer you can qualify by opening a new account and meeting all other conditions. And what do you think the last sentence you quoted means? IMO, it's perfectly clear.2

I see. From my perspective, this means that the first part of the sentence is completely not true. I match that criteria as an existing Lloyds customer, and then to be told in the next sentence that I'm not qualified for the offer is ridiculous.0 -
No, it's you who are being ridiculous. You have to comply with all the conditions. You can't just meet some of them and ignore the rest.I see. I think you still can get the bonus if you wish. Read MSE article and the full T&C, not just FAQ.
