Sky Mobile Haggling
Options
I've just paid my last payment on my device contract, and now want to get a new phone (I probably should have done it as a swap but I dithered too much).
Has anyone had any success with haggling a better deal with Sky Mobile? Unfortunately, it is the latest handset that I want so I know my chances are reduced there. I was tempted to hold out til Black Friday because I am open to changing network (but I REALLY would prefer to stay with Sky). I realise that the device won't come down much, but the plans might... and also I kind of just want to get it over with because all the research is doing my head in.
My Sky app tells me I can get £50 off any Apple handset if I cash in 100Gb Piggybank data, but it won't work in the app, I can only apply £25 - so I do need to call them about that... but I feel like I can't really do that, AND threaten to leave in the same phonecall. I also don't actually know if I've got the b*lls to threaten to leave haha!
Has anyone had any success with getting them to price match? I found a similar deal on Three for £5 a month cheaper.
