Hi all, I am due to renew my broadband contract as mine ( 67 mpb 18 months) is soon finishing.
i don’t particularly fancy a50% increase as only 2 of us at home ( 2 mobile small users,2 I pad ,hive and skyglass) , I am looking for something as powerful or better and extremely reliable as I don’t have in me for a ping pong battle. Any recommendation please

    Who are you with now?

Given you have Sky Glass, how about Sky and merge it into one bundle.

You'll have better luck in a more appropriate board

LoL when people can't even agree on where the post should go.

OP, when you say a 50% increase, do you mean that when you minimum contract term ends it will go onto a monthly rolling contract at 50% more, or that the best new minimum term contract you can get with your current supplier is 50% more?

Have you tried to negotiate and extended contract?

One is a sub-category/board of the other

it was an initial contact for 18 months fair enough but some other new supplier charge the same lower fee .£37/ months should be enough so why going up to £54 and giving to new customer £29 with a £70 voucher. Seems to be the same process for my car insurance and having to change every year to keep decent price despite driving 30 years plus no points on license no claim and a 9 years protected bonus despite driving for 30 years.only an observation point I am making. Thanks

I've been with the same provider for over a decade. Every time I need to renew, I get a ridiculously uncompetitive offer from them, so I find the cheapest equivalent option, phone them up and haggle. You shouldn't need to pay more than £25 per month for the service you have.

Mine wanted to put up from £25 to £38 monthly. West on the website (while looged out) and got an offer. Then logged in as requested - found the offer was lower, but still less that the original £38. Rang them up, and got a faster servie for £24.99 a month. It no longer covers landline, but ours will switch off / turn digital early next year anyway (and I've no idea of the number).

Hate having to do this every year for every contract I have ( waste or time and energy) when are they going to look after good reliable low maintenance customers
