Are rewards worth changing network for?
I've been absolutely obsessing over scouring over the cheapest way to get the iPhone 15 or preferrably, the iPhone 15 Pro (it's quite sad really).
I'm currently on Sky Mobile (but don't have Sky Broadband and TV), and what's really attractive about them is their very generous data rollover... because my data usage really isn't consistent at all - there are some months where I barely even use 1Gb but there are other months that I absolutely burn through it, and I've been able to make this work with Sky's cheapest data plan.
Other Networks with their one month rollover just isn't going to cut it for me. But - they aren't part of Airtime Rewards.
So to kind of match my needs from another network, I'd probably need an unlimited plan.
So I've been looking at other ways to cut that bill down - Tesco mobile with the ability to use clubcard vouchers to pay for your bill, and the Airtime Rewards app, which Sky is not part of. But I live quite rurally and nowhere near the majority of the big retailers (we don't even have things like Just Eat), so most of my rewards would be earned though online spending and on my grocery shopping (which comes from Tesco, Lidl or ASDA, and on rare occaisions, the Coop)...
Seeing that you have to wait until you've got an incriment of £10, I don't think I'm going to consistently be able to reduce my bill every month. (Is EDF part of Airtime Rewards?).
So I'm wondering, is it actually worth changing Network (and porting over my number) just to take advantage of Airtime Rewards?
How much are people actually managing to save with Airtime Rewards, and how often are you able to redeem it?
Has anyone changed their mobile provider because they were lured in by the rewards (either by airtime rewards, clubcard rewards or other individual network rewards? And have you found it worth it?
Has anyone changed over to Tesco so that they can use their clubcard to pay the bill? Was it worth it?
Due to Geography, I can't really take advantage of Three's or O2's rewards either... and EE's ones are nice but they don't really interest me - in the sense that, it's not something I'd pay for on it's own. Might be different if it wasn't an Apple device that I'm after and I could add Netflix onto it and then stop paying for Netflix separately to balance it out.
Are there any other mobile network rewards that I might not have thought of?
Do any of the Networks offer a social tariff or a mobile&broadband social tariff deal?
I am aware I can get a deal on EE because I'm a BT broadband customer (but I'm not sure if being on a social tarrif stops me from being able to get that deal) but even with that taken into account, it's still more money than other Networks. But - with EE being part of Airtime Rewards, it could still be worth it?

What is the geography that means that O2 is not suitable?
Is that connected to signal strength / network coverage?
I ask because you mention Tesco Mobile. I am with Tesco Mobile and very pleased with their offering, BUT Tesco Mobile use the O2 network so, if that is inadequate in your area, Tesco Mobile will also not provide the signal you need.
It is important with any of the virtual networks to check the carrier network they rely on.0 -
Iv got airtime rewards.
The minimum redemtion figure is £10,but the last few times iv gone over £5,they have emailed me to say i can use the £5 instead of waiting for the £10.
I use them for my supermarket shop,i use asda, but because asda is not one of the supermarkets they do rewards with,i buy myself a asda gift card, from airtime rewards, and use them, and get the reward that way0 -

Oh sorry for the misunderstanding, the signal is fine - but I don't live anywhere near any places where I can take advatages of their rewards and things... like the Greggs thing for example.
