Tesco Mobile not worked since the 4th

As per title, had no signal in our home area due to work carried out on a mast. When contacting tesco Mobile, given one date only for this to be put back. Was due back on Saturday, now been out back until a week on Saturday. 

Apparently there is nothing Tesco can do and will not offer any compensation as they never guarantee a problem free service.

What can I do?

Nothing you can do other than change provider if not in contract.

They are correct in that your contract does not guarantee 100% coverage, they are also correct that they will be dependent on O2 as that is whose network they use.

Tesco mobile do apparently support wifi calling, does your phone support this? If so it should work when connected to wifi without the need for a mobile signal.

I had exactly the same issue earlier in the year.  Our O2 signal was always weak then it became non existant at home.  Tesco mobile could not help.  It was compounded by the fact that Tesco mobile never managed to get wifi calling to work on my phone.

I solved my problem by moving to 1P Mobile and wifi calling with them worked instantly.  So even if the signal is weak or zero at home, I can still make and receive calls.

If moving provider, get their cheapest PAYG sim, check wifi calling works or you get a good signal at home and only then get a PAC cose and port your number to the new provider.

If you are still in contract with O2 discuss it with them.  The total loss of signal at home was enough for them to release me from the contract.
