Whats the easiest and quicket way to set up 2 Direct Debts to a spare account?

Options
I have a 2 spare accounts, one currently with TSB and one with Chase, which I intend to switch to Nationwide.

Both require 2 DD to be set up in order to qualify for the incentive bonus. What's the quick and easy way to do this?

I already have a joint Santander account with the wife which has all out real DD's and I don't want to mess around with that.

I need something where I can just transfer money around to fulfil the basic requirements to get the bonuses

Thank you in advance  :)

Plum + Moneybox are some of the fastest if you just want a few token DDs for switching. Otherwise, it's it can be easy enough to just juggle around existing household bill DDs (electricity, gas, water, internal, mobile phone, credit card, etc).

I've just done Moneybox no problem, but seem to be having technical difficulties with setting up Plum right now

One question, can I set up more than one direct debit with Moneybox? Like to have 2 coming in from different accounts

Moneybox can only be used to set up 1 direct debit to one linked current account. It can be used to pull a DD multiple times each month (eg. weekly) but this will still only count as one DD mandate for switching.

Plum can link multiple current accounts, but only one can be nominated as your "primary" account, which is the one that the DD attaches to. If you change your primary account, then the DD is cancelled and a new one is set up.

Check the link posted above for  ideas. If it's not practical to shuffle around household bill DDs, then you could try PayPal or setting up a low amount donation to charity.

    What a great idea!

I actually went with CAFOD in the end as they collect immediately so I'll have a pay out on the 14th Oct and it'll register on my TSB account

I use empty credit cards, set them up as DD minimum payment. Even though no payments are taken, they are set up as active DDs. Usually really easy to change bank or set up DD online too.

I've set up a couple with Warchild recently for switching and they were very fast to get up and running.
